Communication is KEY

Often overlooked, communication is essential in design because it underpins every stage of the design process, from understanding requirements to delivering successful solutions that resonate with users and stakeholders alike.

Constant growth

I've already learned so much in my design career but I know that there is still a vast world of design to master and I plan to master it all. To stay on top of new industry trends and topics, I'm constantly reading books on design and psychology, scanning LinkedIn posts from design leaders, checking design blogs and listening to design podcasts while I work.

Design isn't magic

Most designers will immediately understand this one. Good design takes thought, knowledge, hard work and creativity. As a designer, you have to allow yourself to be flexible and open to new experiences.

my journey to design

As a former finance professional, I found myself drawn to the intersection of functionality and aesthetics, ultimately leading me to embark on a new adventure in the world of design. From crunching numbers to crafting designs, my journey reflects a bold transition driven by passion and creativity. Leveraging my analytical mindset honed in accounting, I bring a unique perspective to every project, blending strategic thinking with innovative design solutions.

Why I design

I want to help people. With the rapid evolution of technology in today's society, the impact of user experience is at an all time high. Each click, swipe, and interaction fuels my passion for crafting intuitive interfaces and delightful user journeys that will help users optimize their time in their everyday activities.

outside of the office

I spend most of my time with my family, playing with my two little rugrats. Mastering the art of fatherhood and husbandry are my ultimate UX projects.

I grew up playing many sports which helped foster fundamental skills in communication and collaboration. I still love to play basketball when I have time. I'm also a big sports fan, supporting the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia Eagles for over two decades. GO BIRDS!
