I’m a multidisciplinary UX/UI designer with 5+ years of experience at SaaS startups and established companies, designing bespoke experiences to create value and increase productivity.
Why do I design?
My passion for helping people and my curiosity for understanding how the world works drives me to be the best designer I possibly can be. I strive to understand why people do the things they do. Such a fascinating puzzle.
What are my tenets of design?
Throughout my career so far, passion, empathy, communication, focus and growth are the key factors that I've determined are fundamental for me as a designer. All vitally important in helping me to highlight the successes and learn from the failures I've experience so far.
How do I stay inspired?
I'm always looking for inspiration in everything that I experience and witness. 'How would I improve this design?' 'What challenges and constraints did the designers experience in their process?' I also love to read books, listen to podcasts, scour social media and test out random apps every now and again.
Where am I when I'm not working?
If I'm not focused on my craft, I love to experience life with my family. My little mini-me's keep me young :)
For fun, I'll read manga, play games, fiddle with my rubik's cube, sketch, exercise and watch sports. I love watching basketball (Bulls) and football (Eagles).
